Carolyn Hoffman, LCSW, Director of the Sinai Temple Mental Health Center in conversation with Andrea Sonnenberg, Mental Health Advocate, Attorney, and Philanthropist (and the person behind the “Getting Thru” podcast) In memory of her beloved son Bradley, who tragically died at the age of 21 from the mixing of psychiatric medications, and in light of the untold number of students struggling with mental health issues, Andrea Sonnenberg has dedicated herself to advocating for awareness and change. In an effort to transform pain into purpose, she will speak about her son’s life and legacy in a virtual presentation chronicling the experience of navigating the world of mental health in order to help care for Bradley.
