CHLOE ANTAKLI
Academy of the Sacred Heart

A 4.0 student at Academy of the Sacred Heart, Chloe was named a salutatorian of her graduating class. She plans to attend the University of Michigan in the fall, majoring in Economics. Chloe discovered Economics in her junior year and enrolled in AP Microeconomics as a senior.
Chloe participated in varsity travel soccer, and was captain of the high school soccer team. Along with her team, she achieved honors including All-State Third Team, All Catholic, All Regional Team, All District Team and 4-year Varsity athlete. Chloe has been a Blue and Gold Club leader.
She was Junior Class Vice President during the pandemic, and worked with her leaders to find ways for her class to connect in meaningful ways and helped to spearhead a new, and highly successful, fundraiser. As a member of the Captains Club all four years of high school, Chloe helped to plan Pep Rallies, Field Days and supported the athletics program across the board.

With a 4.0 GPA at Academy of the Sacred Heart, Marisa was named a salutatorian of her graduating class. She plans to attend Washington University in St. Louis in the fall, studying Pre-Med. Marisa succeeded in balancing a challenging curriculum with a hectic schedule of leadership, service and athletics.
She was elected as the All-School Representative, the voice of students in all matters and the highest student position. Due to changes at Sacred Heart this year, Marisa took on even greater responsibility and worked over the summer helping the Dean of Girls organize new student spaces and host New Student Orientation.
Beginning in her sophomore year, Marisa stepped up as a student leader for the school’s monthly Focus:HOPE food delivery project, a role that she continues to fill. Marisa promoted the service days, making sure that all volunteers had permission slips on file and rides both to and from the service site. In addition to playing tennis for the varsity team, Marisa also competed independently throughout the year.

A 4.036 student at Academy of the Sacred Heart, Charlotte was named co-valedictorian of her graduating class. She plans to attend the University of Michigan in the fall, majoring in Physics. Charlotte enjoyed the relationships she had with her teachers and engaged in meaningful conversations.
Charlotte is constantly challenging herself, setting goals and creating plans to achieve them. During her sophomore year, she chose to study Environmental Science on her own on top of her full academic load. She sat for the AP Exam that spring and scored a 5 on a scale of 1 to 5.
She submitted a video about String Theory and another about CRISPR to the Breakthrough Junior Challenge Competition that encourages students to submit a three-minute video about a science or math topic.
Charlotte was an elected class officer, ran on the cross-country team, participated in forensics and wrote and designed layouts for the “Gazelle Gazette”. At home she practices the piano, works out, reads and creates with crafts. She is a talented artist and started a sticker business on Etsy. She spends her own money on supplies, creates the artwork for her designs and manages the marketing.

A 4.036 GPA student at Academy of the Sacred Heart, Isabelle was named co-valedictorian of her graduating class. She plans to attend Vanderbilt University, School of engineering: Biomedical engineering in the fall.
Isabelle takes advantage of any opportunity she is given, especially if it involves math and science as it will prepare her for a career as an Orthopedic surgeon. Over the last two summers, Isabelle has participated in college programming specifically focusing on the field of medicine.
During the school year, Isabelle practiced tennis two-three hours a day, six days a week and competed in tournaments every other weekend.
She played on the school’s varsity team each spring while playing year-round as an individual. Over the last two years, she has served as Student Club Coordinator. This season, she joined the cross-country team because they needed more members to qualify as a team.

A 4.0 student at A.G.B.U. Alex & Marie Manoogian School, Katrina was named to the Administrator’s List and received a diploma and recognition of high excellence. She plans to attend the University of Pennsylvania in the fall with the goal of entering medical school.
During high school, Katrina received a STEM certificate, and was president of the school’s National Honor Society and a member of the Science National Honor Society.
She participated in Robotics and Automotive. She was a teacher’s assistant, a MyLead volunteer, Be My Eyes volunteer and she participated in the high school newspaper club. Katrina also achieved a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.

A 4.0 student at A.G.B.U. Alex & Marie Manoogian School, Hagop was an AP Scholar with Honor and a First Robotics Dean’s List National finalist. Hagop plans to attend Princeton University in the fall with a major in engineering and pursue becoming an entrepreneur with a startup business.
During school, Hagop has been an Automation Engineering Mechanic, Student Council president and was the school’s National Honor Society Vice President. Hagop was also a Lawrence Tech University researcher and participated in Math Club. Hagop received memorable mention in the 1455 Teen Poetry Contest and is one of two Honorable Mentions for the William Faulkner Literary Competition (Poetry).

Aurora lettered in both basketball and tennis and led her team to winning districts in basketball. In addition, she was the first chair in the Symphony Orchestra and was one of the lead performers in the fall play.

A 4.33 student, Paige was co-ranked #1, co-valedictorian for the Brandon High School Class of 2022. Paige is planning on either attending Grand Valley or Michigan State University in the fall with a pre-dental intention, with plans to open her own orthodontic practice.
During high school, Paige played basketball and captained the varsity golf and track teams. She was the clarinet section leader in the marching band and a part of the Brandon Future Problem Solvers team.
She is very passionate about the STEM program, through which she competed in and made it to the National Bridge Competition in both her freshman and senior years. In her free time, she travels up north and goes sailing with her family.

While in high school, Aubrey played varsity volleyball and was captain of the varsity soccer team. She was Vice President of the school’s National Honor Society, a state qualifier in Business Professionals of America, and a member of Link Crew. She also was a part of the STEM Honors Program. In her free time, she spends time outdoors, visits with family and friends, and travels.

While in high school Sarah was a competitive gymnast and a state champion. In her spare time, she travels and spends time with friends.

During high school, Neil was a member of the Varsity Golf Team and played Competitive Junior Golf. He was honored with D1 All-State First Team, and honored as individual by Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association and Scholastic All Catholic Team, honored as a top achieving student by MI Catholic High School League. He was Varsity Team Captain during his senior year and as a junior, he was 2nd in state finals.
Neil was a member of the Finance Club and was Vice President his senior year, and taught finance to members. He has 10 years of piano education and competed at state level. Neil is an active volunteer. He was an after-school tutor for the National Honor Society Tutoring Program. He packaged food for Gleaners Community Food Banks of SE Michigan and was a volunteer data processing clerk. He has contributed 10 years of Sunday service at Chinese Gospel Church.

During high school, Satyak was a member of the IB Leadership Group and was a Business Professionals of America National and State Competition Qualifier. Satyak won 1st place in the National Stock Trading Contest and placed in the Top 6 at HOSA (Future Health Professionals) state conference. Satyak tutored students for the district and also raised more than $1,000 for a local hospital.

With an unweighted GPA of 4.0 and a weighted GPA of 4.6 at Farmington High School, Hammad also had a very high SAT composite score of 1570. Hammad plans to pursue a bachelor of science degree in Neuroscience at Wayne State University and study the Islamic Sciences.
During high school, Hammad was a 2021 Simons Summer Research Program Fellow, a 2022 National Merit Scholarship Winner, HOSA (Future Health Professionals) Epidemiology State Conference winner and was a Varsity Quiz Bowl Member.
Hammad was president for the Farmington High School Muslim Student Association and Model United Nations and served as a Farmington Public Schools Student Round Table representative and Secretary and Transportation Chair for Michigan Muslim Youth Council. Hammad has also been a volunteer at Beaumont Hospital-Farmington Hills.

With a 4.02 weighted GPA at Frankel Jewish Academy, Leah is a Rabbi Eric Grossman Scholarship recipient. Leah is interested in pursuing the field of Biology, Genetics and Epigenetics at the University of Michigan.
Leah participated in the school’s student government and served as Class President during her freshman and sophomore years, and also served as the senior class student government representative. She was chosen as the only freshman to serve on the Frankel Jewish Academy Education Re-envisioning Team (ERT) leadership team, which included school administration and three other students who represented their specific grade level. Leah also served on the FJA Return to Learn Committee. When the pandemic hit this committee was created to discern the needs of students and faculty and assist in developing a return to school plan.
During her junior year, Leah volunteered to plant a community garden to grow food to donate in the local community. She has participated in athletics and was Varsity Volleyball Team Captain during her senior year. She participated in non-school programs including a summer photography class at Michigan Tech, a field program in biology at the University of Michigan and a program on Epigenetics at Harvard University. She has participated in drama club table readings at school and the anime club, and is studying Korean.

Benjamin has an unweighted GPA of 3.99 and a weighted GPA of 4.22 at Frankel Jewish Academy.
Benji plans to attend the University of Michigan. He has worked as a hockey referee from 2018 to the present for USA Hockey, Great Lakes Hockey Officials, Motor City Stripes.
Benji volunteers for numerous organizations including Midicha of Fenton, Visiting Elderly, B’nai Israel Synagogue of West Bloomfield Twp., Teen Action Council Member, JARC. He organized a 3v3 Basketball tournament fundraiser for local high schoolers to raise money for various foundations and charities (Yad Ezra food bank, Friends of the IDF, and more)
Benji volunteered to tutor children with developmental disabilities. He also volunteered to assist children with mental disabilities at Camp Ramah in Canada Tikvah Program.
Benji earned second place in the International Technion Robotraffic Competition, March 2021. He brainstormed, created, and presented a product to enhance driving safety at an international competition.
In sports, Benji was All-Catholic award winner for soccer in his sophomore year and team captain his senior year. He participated in ice hockey from 2010-2019 and played baseball on the varsity team all through high school and was Team MVP for freshman season and All-Catholic award winner during his junior year.

In the fall, Abigail plans to study Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology with a minor in Public Policy at the University of Michigan’s LSA Honors Program. In addition, she hopes to pursue a PhD for a career in scientific research focusing on epigenetics and public health.
Abigail is a Women Empowered Graduate of Gracie University of Jiu Jitsu.
She served as Chief of Staff and Policy Analyst for the 19th District County Commission (of Oakland County), Youth President of National Organization for Women’s Oakland/Macomb Chapter, Co-Chair of NARAL Pro-choice America’s Michigan Action Council and Co-President National Honors Society.

Throughout high school, she completed research on COVID-19 and schizophrenia with MiRcore, volunteered at a nursing and rehabilitation center, co-founded school’s pre-med club, worked alongside the Helping Hands: ASFSM non-profit organization, and played on the Varsity Tennis team.
She is a member of the National Honors Society and Spanish Honors Society, and has received the honors of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, Rensselaer Medalist, and National Merit Finalist.

Jessica has a weighted 4.41 GPA and an unweighted GPA of 4.0 and one of the valedictorians at International Academy. In the fall, she plans to attend the University of Michigan and pursue a major in computer science with a minor in business through the LSA Honors program.
Jessica is a Coca-Cola Scholars Semifinalist and National Merit Finalist.
Throughout high school, her main extracurriculars consisted of Key Club and Michigan Youth Empowerment Foundation’s Youth Leadership Committee. She held the position of co-president for both activities.
Additionally, she took part in the National Honors Society, French Honors Society, and played volleyball and tennis for Rochester High School’s JV and Varsity teams.

Leah was a captain of the Robotics team, co-president of her school’s Jewish Student Association, as well as a member of the board of the French Honor Society and the Chemistry Club.
She received a number of awards, including a Bloomfield Hills Optimist Club Certificate of Recognition, an Orion Area Youth Assistance Recognition for her volunteer work, and was a Robotics Dean’s List Award Finalist.

Akshara is a National Merit Scholar and Coca-Cola Scholarship semi-finalist. Throughout high school, she has had various leadership roles in school clubs, nonprofit organizations, and honors societies. These commitments have allowed Akshara to pursue her passions in service, public speaking and medical research.

Nicole was a captain of the Science Olympiad team and a board member of the following clubs: Math Lab, Chemistry Club, Physics Help Club, and Programming Club. Other clubs she participated in include the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society.
Nicole is also a National Merit Finalist, received an honorable mention for her participation in the Local Chemistry Olympiad exam, participated in the Michigan All State Concert Band, and was nominated for the MSBOA Spring Honors Band Festival.

During high school, she served as captain of the Peer Corps Club, was a class officer for four years, and currently serves as a student advisor to the Bloomfield Hills Board of Education.

Additionally, Lauren was chosen to be a leader for the annual Senior Retreat this past fall. Lauren is an accomplished level 10 gymnast who will continue her sport at the college level. She has worked coaching young gymnasts and as a math and science tutor. Lauren engaged in extensive volunteer work and leadership with Charlotte’s Wings donating thousands of books to children in local hospitals. Jason had a 4.375 weighted and 4.0 unweighted GPA at North Farmington High School. He plans to major in computer science at the University of Michigan in the fall.
Jason participated in North Farmington High School Varsity Soccer (junior and senior grades) and Junior Varsity Soccer (freshman and sophomore). He was named captain, Best Midfielder, MVP 2019, led the team to a winning record and advanced to the district finals. He also led the team to the 2020 Regional playoff finals.
He was also the starting midfielder for the Farmington Fury Soccer Club and led the team to the Michigan State Cup Championship 2021.
Jason participated in Science/Math-Hampshire College Summer Studies in Mathematics as one of 50 students in the camp that accepted high-level, enthusiastic high school mathematicians with only a 10 percent acceptance rate.
He was a Michigan Mathematics Prize Competition State Qualifier in 2019.
He was a Debate/Speech-DECA, Distributive Education Club of America regional competitor and a BPA Business Professionals of America- regional competitor.
In 2021, his HOSA (Future Health Professionals), Quiz Bowl team won the state championship and competed at the national competition held in Orlando, Florida.
He was a member of the National Honors Society and was class secretary 2019-2020. He was a Link Crew leader and gave school tours and mentored incoming freshmen. He spearheaded a successful Tropical Smoothie fundraising event.
Outside of school, he worked at SportsClub of West Bloomfield as Front Desk Clerk, and opened the gym at 6 a.m. Saturdays.

Piper was a HOSA (Future Health Professionals) State Finalist in Extemporaneous Writing and was in the Archdiocese of Detroit Class of 2022 Scholastic All-Catholic Academic Team. During high school, she was vice president of the National Honor Society, a Student Ambassador and participated in Junior Varsity Field Hockey and Latin Club.

Saran participated in CHAMP (Coop Highly Accelerated Math Program), and completed an advanced math course at Michigan State University.
Saran won championship trophies in the Annual American Guild of Music Piano competitions.
Saran participated in Farmington Hills Youth Theatre and Our Lady of Sorrows Drama Club and was stage manager for two years for high school drama productions and participated in cultural events hosted by the Indian American Cultural Association.

Saran volunteered at Head and Neck Cancer Lab at the University of Michigan; Veterans Affairs Hospital in Detroit; Interim Healthcare and Hospice; and Focus Hope for weekend deliveries. Davis maintained a 4.7 GPA completing 10 AP courses at Seaholm High School, and taking advanced math courses at the University of Illinois since his sophomore year. Davis plans to study math and computers at the University of Michigan College of Engineering this fall.
Davis is a nationally ranked tennis player and the four-year number one singles player for Seaholm’s Varsity Tennis Team. As a captain during his senior year, he led the team to a 6th place finish at the State Championships. Davis also participated in Seaholm’s newly added chapter of Science Olympiad, placing in several events, and is a member of the National Honors Society.
In order to serve his community, he combined his love for tennis and dogs by collecting and distributing used tennis balls to pet owners and shelters.
Seaholm math faculty described Davis as “possessing one of most engaged and gifted math minds they have ever taught at their school.”

A 4.6 student at Seaholm High School, Brady was named a MHSAA Scholar Athlete, National Merit Finalist, Presidential Scholars Program Candidate, AP Scholar with Distinction, and earned a perfect score on the ACT.
Brady will be attending the University of Michigan in the fall to study engineering.
Brady played four seasons of varsity tennis and raced four seasons on the varsity ski team. He served as captain of both teams his senior year. He earned all-state and all-state academic for tennis, and all-league and all-region for ski.
Brady was active in the Seaholm marching, symphony, and jazz bands. He served as the clarinet section leader for the marching band his senior year. Brady contributed to Science Olympiad throughout high school. He captained the Seaholm team his senior year, served as a coach for the Birmingham Covington middle school team and volunteered at several Science Olympiad invitationals.
He is a member of the National Honor Society and vice president of the Chess Club.

Adam played on the boys soccer team and received a varsity letter in the Birmingham United Boys Lacrosse team and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 134.
Adam was vice president of the National Honor Society and president of the Seaholm Chess Club and was active in the Science and English National Honors Societies.
Adam was selected as the president of the Seaholm Symphony Band and played on the Dearborn Youth Symphony as well as on the Seaholm Jazz Band.

Evelyn was president of Seaholm Students Offer Support (SOS), a community service club, president of the Seaholm chapter of National Honor Society, president of the French Club, and served on the Student Congress Executive Board. Evelyn also founded the Equine wishes, a non-profit group.
She served as a research assistant for a MSU Anthropological Study.
Her honors include being a National Merit Finalist, Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction, and US Presidential Scholar Candidate, US Presidential Service Silver Award recipient for over 175 service hours, Mitch Fisher Scholarship Award recipient, Daughter of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award recipient and recipient of the PTA Reflections Award of Merit at the State level for literature.

Jenna played sports throughout high school and was named Captain of the Varsity Cheerleading and Varsity Tennis Teams.
She earned her Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish. She was also involved in the Future Medical Professionals Club, a board member of the National Honor Society, Link Crew, Key Club, and the PEERS Program.
Outside of school, she received scholarships to travel to countries including Costa Rica, Tanzania, and the Dominican Republic through the Global Leadership Adventures Organization. On these trips she worked as a medical and restorative volunteer, where she helped restore school buildings, construct houses using sustainable materials, and treat patients in medical brigades.

A 4.0 student, Courtney was named a salutatorian at Southfield Christian School. She plans to attend the University of Michigan in the fall to study movement science.
Courtney was honored as the top AP Biology student. She was the president of the National Honor Society.
Courtney has been honored numerous times for her talent with the Elite competitive dance team. She co-founded and led the Healthy Earth Healthy Body Club.
Courtney is known for the energy and joy she brings to events.

She was given an award for her commitment to volunteering in the community. Jade’s
leadership skills earned her the title of captain of volleyball school and club teams beginning in ninth grade. Jade has served as vice president of student government and participated in the National Honor Society. Jade was honored as the top Chemistry and AP Physics student.

Kristopher was honored as the top AP Chemistry, AP Calculus,and AP Physics student.
He served on the school’s leadership team, participated in the National Honor Society, and ran cross country throughout high school. He was selected for the College Board National African American Recognition Program and recognized for his commitment to volunteering in the community.
Kristopher is known for lightening the mood with humor while encouraging his peers to do their best.

With a 4.4 GPA at Walled Lake Central High School, Analise was honored as an AP Scholar with Distinction and an AP Capstone candidate
She will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the fall to major in Molecular and Cell Biology, with minors in Music and Integrated Studies in Science, Engineering, & Society.
During high school, Analise participated in Track and Field (Discus/Shot Put), played viola, was German Club President, conducted research with the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was a National Honor Society member and recording secretary.
She received Varsity Letter for Academics, MHSAA All-State Discus, and was an Alternate for MSBOA All-State Orchestra.
She also worked as a barista at Starbucks.

With a 4.433 GPA at Walled Lake Northern, Sofia plans to attend the University of Michigan in the fall to study physics.
During high school, she participated in Track and Field, Walled Lake North Varsity Snowboarding team, Film Club, National Honor Society, Interact Club, Social Justice Club and was an American Diabetes Association Youth Ambassador.
She was honored with the Spirit of the Knight Award, Seal of Biliteracy, Academic Letter and Scholar Athlete Award.
JOEL GROVES

Joel’s 4.386 GPA placed him at the top of his class at Walled Lake Western High School. He plans to attend the University of Michigan in the fall.
Beyond his academic success, the Western faculty praised Joel for his contributions to enhancing the school culture and climate. Joel was nominated by the faculty to represent the school at the Michigan Youth Leadership Conference during his sophomore and junior school years.
As a student-athlete, Joel earned varsity letters in both soccer and skiing. As a skier, Joel’s hard work, commitment to excellence and dedication to the team were recognized by his teammates and coaches as he was selected “The Warrior of the Year” the past two seasons. Joel was also a three-time recipient of the Lakes Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Award in both sports.

Hailey was named valedictorian at Wixom Christian School. She plans to attend Pensacola Christian College in the fall.
Hailey was named to the Highest Honor Roll for her senior year and held a Cumulative GPA of 3.55. Hailey played varsity volleyball and basketball and was a member of the school choir.
She had a part in the school play “Singin in the Rain Jr.” in her senior year.
