European Jewish Parliament slams EU for 'one-sided' condemnation of Israeli building plans
The European Jewish Parliament has issued a strongly-worded letter to the European Union criticising its condemnation of Israel for approving the building of new houses in a controversial area in East Jerusalem. The letter, authored by EJP co-Chairs Vadim Rabinovich and Joel Rubinfeld, says that the European Union’s statement doesn’t serve peace initiatives and strengthens the ambitions of terrorist organisations by condemning the only real democracy in the Middle East by EU standards.
