Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park to return to NYC for its 25th anniversary

Bryant Park’s must-visit Winter Village is returning to the heart of Manhattan on Oct. 28 for its 25th anniversary.
Sponsored by Bank of America, in just a few weeks, Bryant Park will be completely transformed into quintessential holiday cheer, with the Holiday Shops by Urbanspace bringing in 180 small and local businesses.
First launched in 2002, the open-air holiday shopping spot has everything from specialty clothing, artisanal crafts, sweet and savory treats and ice skating.
“There’s always something fun to get you in the holiday spirit here at Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park,” said John Zeitoun, director of partnerships at Bryant Park. “We have something here for everyone.”
This year’s Winter Village will have a range of returning favorites, including Koukli “Saucy Greek”, known for its authentic Greek pita sandwiches, skewers, fries and Baklava hot chocolate, as well as Bara Boheme, an exclusive handcrafted jewelry shop inspired by travel, nature and bohemian style.

Also returning is Bank of America’s Small Business Spotlight program, where four New York City-based entrepreneurs will display and sell their products at a rent-free booth provided by the bank. Bank of America will be announcing the winners at a later date.
“Supporting local small businesses and New York City businesses are really important to what we do,” Zeitoun said. “Some holiday shops have started just as holiday shops, and have grown and expanded based on the success and based on the opportunity of being here.”
What’s new at the Winter Village at Bryant Park?

Making its debut season at the Bryant Park Winter Village is New York’s iconic Serendipity3, where it will be selling its famous Frozen Hot Chocolate and other decadent sweets. (BY) Aleisha, a shop that turns memories and travel destinations into art through hand-painted maps, neighborhood prints, postcards, tea towels, stickers and more, will also be new this year.
“We’re always welcoming new local small businesses as part of the holiday shops experience and programming,” Zeitoun said. “Bryant Park is at the center of our mission, and we want to make sure that there’s always something for everyone to enjoy.”
Open to all ages, the Holiday Shops by Urbanspace will run until Jan. 3. Both The Rink and The Lodge will be open daily through Feb. 28.
