Redmi is working on the A7 Pro, which has just been certified for sale in the UAE by TDRA. This certification has revealed the name, as well as the phone’s model number: 25128RN17Y.
The device has also been certified in Thailand by NBTC and in Indonesia by SDPPI with the model number 25128RN17A. It’s even passed through the FCC with the model number 25128RN17L.
All of these certifications have uncovered that the Redmi A7 Pro is powered by the Unisoc T7250 4G-only SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM, and 64/128GB of storage. The phone has a 6.9-inch display, and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging. Disappointingly, it seems like the Redmi A7 Pro will launch running Android 15, even though Android 16 has now been out for almost eight months.
The Poco C81 is expected to be identical to the Redmi A7 Pro, since it has the model number 25128RN17G, which was revealed through its very own SDPPI certification in Indonesia. Both devices should become official soon, and both are expected to launch in India. We’ll let you know when we find out more.
