
Three people were injured in a shooting that occurred in the East Harlem neighborhood on Thursday night, according to the New York City Police Department.
The gunfire erupted at 216 East 122nd Street just before 9 p.m., when police received a call regarding multiple people shot.
Victims include a 25-year-old female, who was shot in the right ankle, and a 33-year-old man who suffered a gunshot wound in his right leg. They were transported to Metropolitan Hospital in stable condition.
The third shooting victim, a 36-year-old man shot in the right leg, was transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
A 3-year-old child was also transported to Lincoln Hospital, after suffering minor injuries from a fall.
According to a witness, the boy was walking in the neighborhood with his parents at the time of the fall.
Police said there have been no arrests and the attacker’s identity is still unknown.
The investigation remains ongoing.
