During the Star Trek Universe panel at Comic-Con, a sneak peek was shared for the upcoming third season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3, and you can watch it below!
The clip sees four members of the Enterprise crew altering their biology to become Vulcan. This is accomplished by the transformative concoction which fully alters their human DNA, and as you’ll see, they are even more Vulcan than Spock.
If you like this show, you’re going to enjoy this amusing clip. Series cast members Rebecca Romijn and Ethan Peck, Ethan Peck, and executive producers Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, and Henry Alonso Myers showed up on the panel to introduce the clip.
It was also revealed that Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has cast Cillian O’Sullivan (In From the Cold) in the recurring guest star role of Dr. Roger Korby. Korby was introduced to the franchise in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode “What Are Little Girls Made Of?” played by Michael Strong.
Korby is a renowned archaeologist and scientist known for his groundbreaking work in the field of medical archaeology.
The team also revealed that Scotty, who is known for serving as chief engineer aboard the starship USS Enterprise, will be a regular presence across Season 3.
Goldsman also said that the upcoming season will feature “a Hollywood murder mystery [episode] rooted in Star Trek reality.” That sounds like it’ll be a fun episode!
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is set aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise in the years that Captain Christopher Pike captained the storied starship. The series follows Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock, Number One, and the rest of the U.S.S. Enterprise crew in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the starship, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy.
I’m excited about this new season! Enjoy the clip!
