Start-Up Nation Mentorship Second Annual Young Professionals Fellowship Israel

Start-Up Nation Mentorship hosted its second annual Young Professionals Fellowship (YPF) Israel trip from June 14-18 with 20 non-Jewish professionals in finance and high-tech fields. The mission of the trip is to ensure that industry leaders who are not Jewish are well-informed and have the knowledge to make logical decisions surrounding business with Israel and the Middle East. Building a bridge between the gap between the non-Jewish world and the Jewish world and Israel in business settings will create a promising and diverse future.

The YPF trips aim to immerse our cohort in cultural, geopolitical, business, technological, and impact education to understand Israel’s fabric. Some of the meetings included Wiz, Co-Founder and CTO (Ami Luttwak), General Atlantic, Founding Israel Investor (Max August) and Senior Advisor (Yoram Tietz, Fmr. CEO of EY Israel), and Maoz, Chairman and Fmr. CEO of Timberland (Jeffrey Swartz).

The participants also had the opportunity to visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust Remembrance Center, a historical tour of the Old City of Jerusalem, a Krav Maga training, and a trip to the Dead Sea–among other activities.
