Neon has released a new trailer for its bonkers-looking horror movie Cuckoo. The film comes from German filmmaker Tilman Singer and it stars Dan Stevens and Jessica Henwick.
This movie looks like it’s going to take audiences on a deliriously twisted wild ride! This is going to be a unique film that is sure to freak some audiences out. I’m looking forward to experiencing it!
The synopsis reads: “Reluctantly, 17-year-old Gretchen leaves her American home to live with her father, who has just moved into a resort in the German Alps with his new family. Arriving at their future residence, they are greeted by Mr. König, her father’s boss, who takes an inexplicable interest in Gretchen’s mute half-sister Alma.”
“Something doesn’t seem right in this tranquil vacation paradise. Gretchen is plagued by strange noises and bloody visions until she discovers a shocking secret that also concerns her own family.”
The movie was shot on 35 mm film, and it also stars Hunter Schafer, Marton Csókás, and Jan Bluthardt.
Cuckoo will be released in select theaters on May 3rd, 2024.
