Naomi Watts, Tye Sheridan, Michael Imperioli and Norman Reedus Cast in Psychological Drama THE HOUSEWIFE — GeekTyrant

Naomi Watts (Mulholland Drive), Tye Sheridan (Ready Player One), Michael Imperioli (The White Lotus) and Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead franchise) have been added to the cast of the psychological drama The Housewife from first-time feature filmmaker Ben Shirinian.

“Based on a true story from 1964, the film follows a determined young New York Times journalist (Sheridan) as he tracks down a potential Nazi officer living secretly in Queens. When he befriends the suspect’s elegant and charming wife (Watts), the implications of his investigation become much more unsettling.”

Robbie Brenner (Barbie, Dallas Buyers Club), Kevin McKeon (Call Jane), and Lee Broda (May December) are producing alongside EP Alyssa Hill, who also penned the script. CAA Media Finance is repping domestic rights. Production is set to commence in June.

This is a fantastic lineup of stars for this project. We will let you know more about the film and its schedule as it develops.
