New Trailer For The Charming Animated Film ROBOT DREAMS About a Dog and His Robot — GeekTyrant

NEON has released a delightful new trailer for a charming-looking new animated film titled Robot Dreams. The film follows the adventures and misfortunes of Dog and Robot in NYC during the ’80s. There is no dialogue in the movie.

The movie is based on the popular graphic novel by Sara Varon, and the synopsis reads: “Dog lives in Manhattan and he’s tired of being alone. One day after seeing a commercial on television, he decides to build himself a robot, a companion. Their friendship blossoms, until they become inseparable, to the rhythm of 80’s NYC. One summer night, Dog, with great sadness, is forced to abandon Robot at the beach. Will they ever meet again?”

The movie was written and directed by filmmaker Pablo Berger, and it will be released in theaters sometime this year, 2024.
